Kurt Baumbach began his career in international credential evaluation at Educational Perspectives, nfp, in 2003 and began working with Academic Evaluation Services, Inc., as a senior evaluator in 2008. After managing the Houston Receiving Office, he relocated to the main office in Tampa in 2013 to serve as the Director of Evaluation and Translation Services. Mr. Baumbach has written publications and led presentations on a variety of topics in international education with NAFSA: Association of International Educators, The Association for International Credential Evaluation Professionals (TAICEP), the Florida Association of International Educators (FAIE), NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, and other organizations. He has also designed and delivered private training courses in international credential evaluation for university admissions staff. His areas of interest include education in South Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
